Friday, September 10: Forests, Fires and Finance and Our Future
Join us and spread the word to your community
This year's burning season across the Brazilian Amazon is growing in intensity. Year after year of drought and fires in California reflects the direct result of Amazonian destruction due to deforestation, fires, mining, and agriculture. California has deeply felt the impact of not receiving critical moisture and vapor that we need to keep our climate in balance. The future of the planet depends on rejecting climate colonialism driven by financial institutions. It's our collective responsibility to stand in solidarity with the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon.
