Countries that do not Celebrate Halloween
Why should I do it anyway?
Over the past few years, we’ve seen a massive increase in the number of species that are going extinct, especially due to climate change. This project’s goal is to bring more awareness to the dangers that involve climate change, using a more fun approach, so that children can also understand what is happening and how global warming is scary.
For the project, you may draw an animal that is going extinct in your country or create a costume or makeup look inspired by that animal. Another option is to write a horror story related to the climate crisis.
The drawings and videos do not have to include a Halloween aesthetic! You may even feel free to add characteristics that are related to your country’s culture!

Thank you so much for doing this. Too many species have been impacted by climate change but never had a voice in the decision making process. Thanks for helping us bring their voices to the COP26. Here's our altar to the extincted species in Pasadena CA for Dia De Los Muertos.
